The Feelings in My Body for Social-Emotional Learning (SEL)
This 4-step worksheet helps young children learn to name and identify feelings in their body.
This is a helpful tool to start conversations on feelings and help give children the words to describe their experience.
The child will (1) color and decorate the body outline to represent them, (2) color code the feelings listed, (3) use each color to shade in the body parts where they feel the emotions and (4) talk about a time during the week that they felt that emotion.
Print copies to put in a clipboard that can be hung up, or print one sheet and frame it behind glass or acrylic, laminate it or keep it in a safe place to revisit as needed.
